Sofia's Scrapbook Series: First Bath Layout

Hi Scrappers! Boy oh boy, creating layouts is becoming very addicting! I'm finding such joy in scrapping now that there is a purpose. Dont get me wrong, I've always enjoyed paper crafting, but there's something about being able to create memories with these layouts that gives me comfort when I'm spending such amounts of time on them.

For this layout, I decided to focus on Sofia's first bath! Her first bath was at the hospital by one of the nurses. It was very difficult for me to get involved since I had a c-section. I was still in a great deal of pain at the time so I videotaped from my bed while my hubby watched and took photos. My mom, sister and two nieces were there too. The nurse involved my nieces which I think they loved!

Supplies:
Cricut CTMH Artiste cartridge (for the large white cloud)
Cricut Baby Steps cartridge
Cricut Imagine Enjoy the Seasons cartridge

Sofia's Scrapbook Series: First Day of School Layout

Hello Scrappers!  Today I am sharing a First Day of School scrapbook layout. The more time I invest in scrapbooking, the more I am getting the hang of it. Although I am getting ahead of myself by creating my daughter a First Day of School page, it is the theme this week over at A Jillian Vance Design, and I know that when the time comes, I will be so grateful that it is ready to go. All I have to do is add photos and some journaling! This layout took me FOREVER to do! I did a lot of embellishing and faux stitching. Hope you enjoy, let me know what you think!

A look at the details up close:

Zipper Die!

Hello Friends! Today I'm featuring The Inspirational Zipper stamp set and my favourite A Jillian Vance Design Die, The Zipper {die}vice die! This stamp set came at such an appropriate time for me, I really needed to send a card out like this to a few different people!

Look at how cool this die is! It has perforated edges so that you can tear it open!
Torn up and voila! A message on the inside :)

Cricut New Testament cartridge (for the pink cross)

Gingerbread Love!

Hello Friends! We were given a two week summer break from AJVD so I've been enjoying my time off with my daughter and husband and we've been swimming and enjoying the weather! Now it's back to working with the stamps that I love.  It's Christmas in July and we are celebrating at A Jillian Vance Design by sharing Christmas card creations all week long! I'm using one of my favourite AJVD Christmas stamp sets, "Baking Treats"since right away gingerbread came to mind :)  For Christmas card creations and 3D projects which will be showcased next week, visit the Design Team Blog!

Here's a shot of my Gingerbread in "action" trying to run away from the card, but he can't since he's on an Action Wobble...lol!

Supplies:
DCWV 'Tis The Season paper stack
Cricut Gingerbread seasonal cartridge
Action Wobbles
Buttons (from my stash)
Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa

Happy Holidays everyone!  As some of you may have figured out by now, I'm Canadian! And even though this weeks theme for the designers at AJVD was red, white and blue, I'm being a rebel and sticking to red and white, the colours of Canada's flag, to show my Canadian pride! I made a sign to hang in the house or on the front door.  Here's to wishing you all a safe and happy Fourth of July and Happy Canada Day to any Canadian followers!
Supplies:
Cricut Create A Critter cartridge
Cricut Destinations cartridge
