Halloween Pumpkin Carving

Hello Followers! Here's a pumpkin that my hubby and I carved last year using the Cricut Pumpkin Carving Seasonal cartridge.

I cut it out onto cardstock.

I then taped it down to the pumpkin and traced it.
Then got my hubby to do the dirty work and carved the pumpkin.

Here it is all lit up!

Sofia's Baptism ~ Invitations, Banner, Menu card, Programs and Favours

At the end of July, we celebrated our daughter's Baptism. It was a very special day for us. Here's a lengthy post that contains some of the sweet little details...

Her precious little raw silk dress:
Custom vintage headpiece for the reception:

The Invitation:
(Personal Information has been blurred out)

Invitation Supplies:
Cricut New Testament cartridge (cross feature on pg. 51 cut @ 5')
Stampin Up! cardstock in Pink Pirouette
Stampin Up! Grosgrain Ribbon in Pink Pirouette
Recollections Pearl Embellishments
Fonts used: Calibri and LainieDaySH

*Useful Tip* For the ribbon effect on the invitation, I did not run the ribbon behind the layered cardstock. I trimmed it using my Imaginisce Imagicut ribbon tool. Invest in it - it's worth it. I wasn't too good at using the lighter to seal my ribbon.

The Banner:

To make the areas where I hung the banner look neat and clean, I created two giant flowers, they were so beautiful!

Banner Supplies:
Cricut Pretty Pennants cartridge
Cricut New Testament cartridge
Cricut Storybook cartridge
Cricut Giant Flowers cartridge
Stampin Up! cardstock in Pink Pirouette
Recollections Shimmer cardstock

The Menu:

Menu Card Supplies:
Stampin Up! cardstock in Pink Pirouette
Recollections Shimmer cardstock
Fonts used: Calibri and LainieDaySH

The Program (A Mini Keepsake Book):
I really wanted to create a special keepsake program of Sofia's special day. Inside I put approximately 15 photos of her professional newborn shots and in between the pictures I placed quotes about children from the bible and some prayers.

Program Supplies:
Cricut Imagine Baby Boutique cartridge (printed the patterned paper on Recollections shimmer cardstock)
Stampin Up! cardstock in Pink Pirouette
Your Story 4x6 White Linen Texture Album Covers
Fonts used: Calibri and LainieDaySH

Favour's - Handmade Rosaries:
In addition to the framed photos that we provided each guest, I handmade rosaries (I used to make these during recess at school when I was a little girl - it was very sentimental for me) and placed them with a prayer card.  I used a prayer that my husband and I say with Sofia each night before she goes to sleep.  I placed these in a clear pillow box for a nice clean look and kept the fonts consistent as well as the cardstock.

Favour Supplies:
Clear Pillow Boxes
Stampin Up! cardstock in Pink Pirouette
Fonts used: Calibri and LainieDaySH

Bling Pacifier:
Sofia had to have a princess pacifier on her special day! I took a pacifier and blinged it to the nines with Swarovski Crystals using my Imaginisce I-Rock. I then attached it with white satin ribbon and adhered it with a pearl rhinestone embellishment using a hot glue gun.

Here's a shot of the framed professional photos of Sofia that we handed out to each guest:
The tag that was attached to the photos. I love this poem!
A simple flower arrangement I made and spruced up by adding ribbon and a rhinestone embellishment.
For the dessert table, I made chocolate covered strawberries.
My sister and I made Hello Kitty Cake Pops :)
Old fashioned Italian cake. Not the prettiest, but I can guarantee you - it was the tastiest!

Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for looking - I hope that it provided you with some inspiration!
