Stamp Sneak Peeks Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of A Jillian Vance Design Sneak Peeks!  Today we are featuring a set called "Perfect Day".  This set is fantastic for journaling, scrapbooking, and even cards!  I created an anniversary card for my hubby. We will be married 3 years in May!  Be sure to check out the rest of the design team's projects, as there are more sneaky peeks for you waiting on the blog!  Click here to check it out.

*Helpful Hint* The circle stamp on this set (which I used on the inside of my card) can be used with a 3" punch, which is what I used to cut my stamp out.
This is the inside of my card. This set called "Perfect Day" comes with this beautiful stamp that allows you to write a memory and circle what time of the year it was.

Make sure you visit the AJVD Design Team blog everyday this week to see some fun NEW A Jillian Vance Design Stamps and dies.  You can also have a chance to WIN a stamp set of your choice.  All you need to do is be a follower of http://ajillianvancedesign.blogspot.com/ and leave a comment daily.

You're Engaged!

Hi Everyone! This is Nadia from Nadia's Beautiful Mess and I am one of Monica's designers! While I am waiting for the remainder of my Stampin Daisies samples to arrive in the mail, I thought I would utilize Monica's very first stamp set, Just the Basics.  It is specially priced right now so click on the link below if you are interested.
One of my co-workers just got engaged and Monica's stamps came in handy for my card.
I wanted a home sewn look. My sewing is off, but I think that is what gives my card character. The lighting is dark however the ribbon is actually brown.

I also couldn't resist using another adorable stamp on this set on the back of my card. I love the font Monica used:

Supplies:
Stampin Daisies Just the Basics
Cricut Sweethearts cartridge
K&Co. paper
Momento Ink in Rich Cocoa
Recollections pearl brad
Foam squares

Thanks for looking!

Congratulations Bridal Shower Card

I can't believe how many bridal shower cards I have had to make for my mom lately!  I am considering making her a gift box full of "A Year in Cards" loaded with new baby, birthday, wedding, shower and thank you cards!
I turned to my Paper Lace cartridge. I love this cartridge so much. It's an easy way to make your cards look elegant. I just chose a simple shadow image from the Sweethearts cartridge and planned around that. I knew I wanted a black and white theme and pearls.
Most of the Paper Lace images are square, so I used my gypsy to make it a rectangle shape to fit my card size.
I love this stamp. The font is sooo beautiful!
Adding pearls to the card gives it the extra elegant touch.
I added stickels to the flower to give the simple silhouette some character.

Recipe:
Cricut Paper Lace cartridge
Cricut Sweethearts cartridge
Recollections Adhesive Pearls and ribbon pearls
Black Satin Ribbon
Tsukineko Black Chalk Ink
Stickels Frosted Lace
Hero Arts stamps
Scraps of pattern paper
Black and White cardstock
Foam Squares (to pop up the sentiment)

Mr. & Mrs. Wedding Card

I love this cut that comes from the Cricut Sweethearts cartridge. Keeping the card black and white makes it simple, yet elegant. To bling it up, I used tulle and added a beautiful pearl brad and glittered the "Mr. & Mrs."

I love the way the tulle looks on this card.
I used my 5" Xyron to glitter the cut.
Hope you enjoyed and thank you for looking!
